Due to an increase in attendance, we are moving the location of the Montgomery County ISD Football Tabletop to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. We are moving so that we can accommodate a larger attendance and facilitate an atmosphere for open discussion and learning. When you arrive, park in the Gold Lot, located at the southwest corner of Lake Robbins Rd and Six Pines Dr.

Football season is upon us again. As the emergency medical service provider for Montgomery County, we are continuously assessing threats and vulnerabilities. Growing risks in our community are the mass gatherings, specifically high school games. High school football events have a unique complexity that bring together adults, children, rivalries, parent/guardian enthusiasm, and educational institution violence.  MCHD has an additional stakeholder ship in these events as the primary standby ambulance for most of the events in the county.

We are asking for participation from all Montgomery County ISDs and private schools that host sporting events. The goal is to bring together like-minded safety professionals responsible for the wellbeing of the student and spectator populations. We will have specific learning objectives that include identifying event command structure, initiating your incident action plan, and executing the reunification plan. Additionally, this will be an opportunity for networking and the sharing of best practices.

You may invite anyone from your organization that you feel would be beneficial to discussions. We request that all attendees preregister.
