CPR / First Aid / Safe Sitter / Stop the Bleed

When someone is in cardiac arrest, minutes count. The sooner blood is flowing to the brain, the greater the chance of a positive outcome.

While Montgomery County Hospital District’s paramedics are well trained in cardiac arrest management, it does not replace the need for immediate bystander CPR. Survival rates increase when bystanders begin CPR rather than waiting for the First Responders to arrive.

Today, Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are found in offices and public spaces for bystanders to use to respond to a cardiac arrest. If you or your company or organization has purchased and placed an AED, please register your AED so the MCHD EMS and First Responders know you have one available for use.
