Trauma Study
In 2007, the South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber of Commerce commissioned the Montgomery County Trauma Feasibility Study. The goal of the study was to independently affirm the need for additional trauma resources in the County and make recommendations to address the need, including best practices for implementation and financing.
The Abaris Group was selected to conduct the study.
The study was funded through commitments from local stakeholders including Memorial Hermann-The Woodlands Hospital, Conroe Regional Medical Center, St. Luke's Community Medical Center, the Montgomery County Hospital District. The Southeast Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council provided a $50,000 grant to support the study and the development of additional trauma resources for the region.
