HCAP Handbook

Currently there are two healthcare assistance plans offered by Montgomery County Hospital District.  There is the Montgomery County Indigent Care Plan (MCICP) and Medical Assistance Plan (MAP).  Each plan has a corresponding handbook that establishes the eligibility standards and application, documentation, and verification procedures for each. Please use the links below to download sections or a full copy of each Handbook. The difference between MCICP and MAP is the income limitation for each.  MCICP is 0-21% of FPIL whereas MAP is 22-150% of FPIL.  Please note that services covered are identical for both programs.  Both handbooks online are revised as policy changes, so the eligibility information, etc. is always up to date.
