Eligibility

The Health Care Assistance Plans are available to all qualified residents who cannot pay for healthcare services and are not qualified for Medicare, Medicaid or other programs. To become eligible for assistance, applicants must meet the residence, citizenship, household, resource, and income requirements outlined in the MCICP or MAP Handbooks. For example, you must live in Montgomery County, have a medical necessity for healthcare, and your income must be less than 133% of the Federal Poverty Limit (which is about $1200/mo for one person).
