The MCHD Billing office processes accounts receivables for the EMS service.  

We realize that your ambulance bill is not a debt that you wanted to incur.  It is a debt of need, not a debt of want.   For this reason, we want to do everything possible to meet our mutual needs.  

MCHD gladly accepts payment from third party payers such as insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid. many times, we are unable to collect your insurance information at the time of service.  if you receive a bill from MCHD and need to provide us this important information, please contact us.  

If you do not have insurance or another third party payer, we need to hear from you.  We will gladly credit card payments or negotiate a payment plan that best suits your individual needs. 

It is imperative that you do not ignore your ambulance bill!  We will be happy to work with you if you call us.  However, MCHD does turn delinquent account over to Linebarger, Goggan, Blair, and Sampson, LLP for collections.

MCHD uses Zoll Data System Billing Software (formerly known as Sanitas) to process approximately 28,000 billable trips per year.
