Ironman Texas 2024 is just under two weeks away. Last night, nearly 100 race volunteers signed up to get certified in CPR! The group is now armed with the knowledge to act if they encounter a person in cardiac arrest. The class was taught by medics from MCHD and The Woodlands Fire Department. MCHD’s #m01 was on hand for the 2024 Gran Fondo Texas Charity bike ride! The ride has become one of the largest rides in Texas since its inception in 2011. With multiple routes, extending as far as 96 miles, medical standby is important to ensure rider safety. This year’s beneficiaries of the charity bike ride include the Montgomery County Food Bank, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Texas Medical Center Orchestra. #mchdinthecommunity #ems ...
